Common questions
How often are new field notes published?
Periodically, drawn from live controlled-shed work. Each piece is short and practical enough to use by the next flock.
What topics do the insights cover?
Practical controlled-shed subjects: vaccination, biosecurity and downtime, on-farm diagnosis, medication and stewardship, environment and set-points, brooding, and reading a close-out sheet honestly.
Can I ask a question about an article?
Yes. Message the practice on WhatsApp with the shed and the flock, and we will talk it through directly.
Is this general advice or specific to my farm?
The notes are field-tested general guidance. Timing, strains, doses and set-points are always tuned to your farm's local challenge when the practice builds your programme.
Can I share these articles with my farm team?
Please do. They are written to be used on the floor, and sharing them with the crew who run the shed is exactly the point.
Do you cover layers as well as broilers?
The practice and these notes are focused on controlled-environment broiler production. Many principles carry across, but the programmes we build are broiler-specific.
